Learn and implement a high-impact framework specifically engineered for the unique challenges of student-facing roles and earn up to 60 hours of nationally accredited training toward the Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential.

Program Overview

Transform every interaction into an opportunity for growth. Coaching Conversations equips you to shift conversations with students from transactional to transformational. Move from being the person with the answers to the person who asks the right questions. Create dynamic interactions that develop and reinforce student empowerment, ownership, and accountability.  

In our training workshops, you’ll explore a framework that helps you provide students with a safe, non-judgmental space to reflect. You will learn how to inspire them to remember that they are the experts in their own lives, empowering them to move from who they are right now to who they want to become.

The Coaching Journey: What to Expect

The IU Coaching Conversations training program is designed to be rigorous, flexible, and immediately applicable. Participants move through a purposeful progression designed to turn theory into mastery.

  • Immersive Learning: Kick off your journey with workshops that move beyond lecture and into live demonstrations and active practice. Most workshops follow a hybrid model, with both live and asynchronous components.
  • A Hands-on Path to Mastery: Gain confidence through Coaching Labs, where you’ll receive real-time feedback from Coaching Conversations facilitators and peers in a safe, collaborative environment.
  • National Excellence: Choose to complete a 60-hour Board Certified Coach (BCC) training path approved by the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE), a major component of one of the most respected credentials in the industry.
