IU employees can check the All-IU Student Success Professional Development and Training Calendar for information about upcoming coaching workshops, including registration instructions. You must sign in with your IU credentials to see the calendar content (the log in button is in the upper left-hand corner of the screen, above the interactive calendar). The page should only be blank after sign-in if there are no upcoming workshops.
As we continue to offer a full schedule of workshops and our 60-hour Board Certified Coach training program, we also are in the process of updating and recertifying our 60-hour training program and developing a 30-hour continuing education program for those who want additional training or need to complete a 120-hour training program. Stay tuned for the rollout of on-demand, asynchronous training components, as well as exciting new workshop topics!
For those interested in completing our 60-hour Board Certified Coach training program, the requirements include:
42 Workshop Hours
18 Coaching Lab Hours
30 Documented Coaching Practice Hours (in addition to lab and workshop practice coaching)
Upon successful completion of these requirements, reach out to the Coaching Conversations program to request your certificate of completion. You will need to include this certificate in your CCE Board Certification application. You are independently responsible for the CCE Board Certification process including application, transcript, exam payment and scheduling, etc.
