Student Access, Engagement, and Well-being

Connecting students to community & resources

The Student Access, Engagement, and Well-being area within IU Student Success is dedicated to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for all IU students. This area focuses on enhancing overall student engagement by developing and implementing initiatives that promote student well-being and holistic development from the moment they step onto campus through their graduation and beyond. Through collaboration with university leadership, campus partners, and various communities, the Student Access, Engagement, and Well-being area ensures that students have access to the resources and support they need to thrive socially and personally.

Areas of focus

Prioritizing Student Health and Wellness

Providing integrated access to education and services that address students' physical, emotional, and social needs, empowering them to manage life's challenges and fully engage in their learning and skill-building experiences.

Fostering holistic engagement and skill development

Encouraging student involvement in and outside the classroom to enhance the overall college experience, complementing academic learning with valuable, out-of-classroom skill-building.

Comprehensive Student Empowerment and Access

We prioritize student success by removing barriers, expanding opportunities, and providing holistic support—including basic needs, financial wellness resources, and targeted initiatives for priority populations—to foster informed decision-making and enable academic and personal growth.
