Student success technology
The Office of the Vice President for Student Success manages more than 20 enterprise-level student success technologies to enhance educational experiences, improve academic and co-curricular learning outcomes, and support the overall success of students. These technologies aim to provide administrators, faculty, staff, and students with valuable insights, data-driven strategies, and resources to optimize student learning, engagement, and achievement.
We envision a student success ecosystem that leverages technology to achieve the following outcomes:
- Individualization: technology allows us to personalize the experience of each student, guiding them towards their unique educational goals
- Effectiveness: our tools are purpose-built and aligned to university-wide student success objectives to support and enhance a consistently high-quality student experience
- Scalability: we aim to leverage technological solutions at scale to provide every student equity of experience, access, and resources
- Integration: by seamlessly integrating technologies into the educational ecosystem, we seek to foster a cohesive and interconnected knowledge environment that addresses the holistic needs of students
In academic year 2023-24, the Office of the Vice President for Student Success partnered with TimelyCare to launch a free, virtual, on-demand mental health platform available to all students. We also partnered with Maxient to provide coordinated care for students across Title IX, student conduct, and care teams at Indiana University.
